The release date for my first iPhone game is drawing ever closer. All of the mechanics are in place and i’m currently tweaking the graphics, sounds, and game difficulty. Within the next day or so I expect to move onto the final round of bug testing and code refactoring. keep reading…
Just a short post this time. I’ve made some quite big changes in the last week. Firstly and most importantly, the Icarus theme has now taken a backseat (although I may still use it for some inspiration in the game). Along with the dropped theme is a new working title, “Sunlight”.
I’ve spruced up the graphics somewhat although they are still likely to change considerably before the game is released. Here is the first screenshot of the game under its new moniker “Sunlight”.
Progress on my new game, working title: Icarus, is good. Cocos2d iPhone is a really nice framework that allows you to get things up and running very quickly. I actually have a basic version of the game up and running already. It certainly doesn’t have all of the components working but it is playable. Here’s what works so far… keep reading…
